“Had a large deck and fence cleaned after about 10 years of accumulated dirt and grime. Very satisfied with the results and the price. Highly recommended.”

What Sets Us Apart

Here's the difference you should expect.

A pressure washer strips the surface. Restoration brings the wood back. The result is not subtle — and once you've seen it side by side, you can't unsee it.

Same deck after professional restoration — even and rich Professionally Restored

This homeowner pressure washed his deck. We restored it. Pressure alone lifts surface grime but leaves oxidation, streaking, and raised grain behind. Our four-stage process removes the weathering, restores the natural colour, and protects what's underneath.

The Transformation

Most wood isn't dirty. It's weathered.

Beneath the grey is the cedar you originally chose. Restoration brings it back.

Same wood. Same boards. The grey you see is oxidation and weather exposure — not the condition of the wood underneath.

How It Works

The Restoration Process

Most decks are not dirty. They're weathered. Our process removes years of oxidation, restores natural colour, and protects the wood from future weather exposure.

Stage One

Surface Preparation

We remove algae, staining, grease, and embedded contaminants from the surface. This stage clears everything sitting on top of the wood so the grain beneath can be assessed and restored accurately.

Stage Two

Wood Brightening

This is where weathered grey wood returns to its natural cedar colour. Brightening neutralizes oxidation and lifts the dull, greyed layer to reveal the original tone hidden beneath years of exposure. It's the stage that changes how the entire structure looks.

Stage Three

Controlled Pressure Washing

A measured, controlled rinse reveals the clean, restored wood without forcing or damaging the grain. The emphasis is on control and preservation — removing what's been lifted, never gouging the surface.

Stage Four

Protective Sealing

A penetrating, water-based sealant protects the restored wood against moisture and weather exposure. It soaks into the grain rather than coating the surface — so there's no peeling, and the natural appearance is preserved.

Before You Decide

Common Questions

Every project begins with an estimate. Recommendations are based on the condition of the wood.

Is my deck too far gone?+
Weathered wood often looks far worse than it actually is. The grey surface is oxidation and weather exposure sitting on top of sound wood. In most cases the material underneath is in good condition and responds well to restoration. The estimate tells us for certain.
Will pressure washing damage the wood?+
It can, when used as the primary method. Our process leads with surface preparation and brightening, so by the time we rinse, the work is already done. The controlled rinse reveals the restored wood without forcing or gouging the grain.
How long does the restoration last?+
With protective sealing, restored wood holds its appearance and stays protected against moisture for years before it benefits from maintenance. Exposure, sun, and traffic all factor in. We'll set realistic expectations for your specific structure when we send your estimate.
Is restoration better than replacement?+
Whenever the wood is sound, restoration preserves the investment you already made — at a fraction of the cost and disruption of rebuilding. Replacement only makes sense when the structure itself has failed, which is less common than most homeowners assume.
Do you only work on decks?+
No. We restore fences, pergolas, gazebos, privacy screens, and other exterior wood structures. If it's outdoor wood that has weathered, it's a candidate for restoration.
